To transform this TK Maxx bargain dress into a unique, perfectly-fitted dream wedding dress.

Cherie found a dress she loved... from the front... but she hated the elasticated back.
Brief:
I removed the elasticated panel and replaced it with a structured, pleated back with side zip fastening. The original, plain straps were then replaced with a cross-over pleated design.

To rectify the wobbly zip which doesn't sit flat down the back.
Brief:
The original zip was too heavy for the delicate lace which was causing it to bend. I removed this zip and replaced it with a shorter, lighter zip in the lower part of the dress. I then added buttons and loops all the way down the opening to fasten the lace part at the top and cover the zip at the bottom.
Problem solved!
